Learning Opportunities for Aboriginal People
on the Sunshine Coast

Picture
School District No. 46 (Sunshine Coast), the Sechelt Nation, and Capilano University work together to provide local support and learning opportunities to First Nations, Métis and Inuit people of all ages.   From Early Learning and Childhood Development programs for little ones - to school programs - to post-secondary programs - to programs for elders....the partners believe that teachings and knowledge are precious and that learning and education is a life-long journey.   It is our reason; our passion; our purpose -  to provide learning opportunities and to support people on that journey.   Just as the poles support the house - just as the house supports and shelters the family and community...so, too, do we hope our working together contributes to a strong community.
